Set up and share your profile
Your profile is intentionally simple: your name, username, photos, and what you're up to right now.
What's on your profile
Your profile shows your first and last name, username, profile photo, banner image, the date you joined, and your current Mood, which appears as a gold ring with an emoji around your avatar while it's fresh. There's no bio field; your profile is about what you're doing, not a resume.
Editing your profile
- Tap Edit on your Profile tab to change your photo, banner, name, or username.
- Usernames are checked for availability as you type: 3-20 characters, lowercase letters and numbers, starting with a letter.
- Your phone number is verified and can't be changed in the app. Email support@actuallyhangout.com if you need to update it.
Sharing your profile
Tap Share on your Profile tab to get a personal QR code and link. Friends can scan the code or open the link to find you. It's the easiest way to connect in person.
Anyone signed in to the app can view your profile, but your posts are only shown to the audiences you chose when you posted them.
