Hide my posts from a friend

Stay friends, but keep your default posts, moods, and availability out of their feed unless you include them.

Hide my posts is for when you still want someone as a friend, but you don't want them seeing everything you share by default. It is not blocking and it is not unfriending.

How to hide or show someone

  • Open People → Friends.
  • Swipe a friend and tap Exclude to hide your posts from them, or Show to reverse it.
  • Excluded friends show a "Hidden from your posts" badge so you can tell at a glance.

What they stop seeing

They won't see your default posts, moods, or availability. You remain friends, and you can still interact in other ways that don't depend on that feed.

Excluded unless included

If you post to a Friend Tag that includes them, or otherwise include them in that post's audience, they can see that post even while excluded. Inclusion for a specific post overrides the hide.

You can also ask Assist to hide or show someone. Nothing changes until you confirm the plan.
