Plan together: suggestions and voting
Turn on Collaboration Mode and let the group decide the where, what, and when.
Some plans shouldn't be a dictatorship. With Collaboration Mode on, everyone invited to plan can suggest options for the location, activity, and time, then vote on their favorites. Hangouts still being decided live in the Planning tab.
How it works
- Members submit suggestions for the location, activity, or time.
- Everyone votes. By default each person gets 3 votes and can add 3 suggestions.
- The organizer can make suggestions or votes anonymous, so nobody has to own up to suggesting karaoke.
- Optional deadlines for suggesting and voting keep things moving, with reminders as they approach.
Locking in the plan
Voting doesn't change the hangout by itself. When the results are in, the organizer reviews them, accepts the winning suggestions, and updates the hangout's actual time, place, and activity. That's when everyone gets the update.
